John and Kerries wedding was brilliant in so many ways. They’d put a lot of thought into what they wanted and despite the upheavals that Covid has given us they simply nailed it.
I always like to talk to couples and find out who they are and what they want so that the photographs mean something to them, reflect who they are and what they do.
During the preparations they emphasised how important the location was to them and how important it was that long time friends Troy and Rod perform a Welcome to Country ceremony. Between the smell of the smoke, the words and sound of the Didgeridoo really added an extra dimension to the day. It was a day of abundance, love, spirituality, sunshine and a South Easterly.
From my point of view I was particularly glad that John and Kerrie chose to have the preparations covered in the lead up to the ceremony. This is something I emphasise the importance of to clients because in my experience this is often where the most beautiful, heartfelt moments occur. It’s this part of the day that makes up the beginning of the Wedding Day story.
Congratulations John and Kez

Say “Fromage!”
I genuinely like people, I like hearing their stories, what makes them who they are because when I take their photograph, I want to show who they are rather than just take their picture. This is an important distinction to make – some photographers reproduce a digital representation of what you look like, I want…
Album day!
I print albums for two main reasons. 1) Printed images have an added level of beauty when printed onto proper, archival quality paper that cant be replicated on a computer screen. 2) There is a permanency in a printed album, albums don’t get hacked, go out of business or suffer hard drive fails. The issue…
